Gestern hatte ich nach 7 Tagen Arbeit das erste Mal einen freien Tag-den hatte ich mir auch wirklich verdient :). Nach einer etwas kurzen Nacht (ich wusch wieder einmal saemtliche Kleider und Bettwaesche-irgendwie habe ich Paranoia...), traf ich mich um 9.00 mit Ruedi (Cousin meines Grossvaters Koebi von der Stegrueti, der schon einige Jahre hier in Panama lebt) und wir gingen auf grosse Exkursionstour durch Panama City. Wir besichtigten zuerst den Panamakanal-wirklich sehr interessant, wenn man da sieht, wie sich ein riesiges Containerschiff vor dir um ca. 8 m erhoeht! Danach ging es weiter in das Naturschutzgebiet um Panama City herum-Dschungel soweit man sieht, einfach umwerfend. Nachdem wir auch noch Casco Viejo (ein alter Stadtteil Panamas) besichtigt haben und ich mir in einem Souvenirshop noch mein ach so wichtiges Stoffaufnaehfaehnlein fuer meinen Rucksack ergattert habe , ging es zum wichtigsten Teil des Tages ueber-dem Essen. Mmmmh, Tintenfisch und gebratene Bananen namens Platanos :). Zum Schluss des Tages gesellte sich auch noch Ruedis Frau, Yadira, zu uns und wir genehmigten uns einen Schlummertrunk. Danach gings ab nach Hause, der naechste Waschgang und die naechste Giftmittelattacke erwarteten mich...
